This is pose 01 of our Duergar range, sculpted by Yasashii Kyojin Studio — a squat, barrel-chested grey dwarf warrior who radiates the kind of quiet menace that only comes from decades surviving the Underdark. His arms are folded across a heavily bandaged chest, one gauntleted fist curled around a spiked flail, and his expression communicates exactly zero interest in negotiation. Spiked pauldrons sit atop studded leather armour over a quilted gambeson, spiked sabatons grip the ground beneath him, and a large round shield is slung across his back — battered but serviceable, like everything else about him.

The sculpt rewards a careful brushwork approach: the deep diamond-pattern quilting on the gambeson, the layered studs across the armour, and the flowing white beard all offer rich contrast and texture for painters. As a display piece he holds his own on any shelf, but on the battlefield he belongs behind a defensive line, soaking damage and scowling at whoever sent the party down here.

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to escort a merchant through a disputed tunnel junction — but when they arrive, the checkpoint is already staffed by a single Duergar warrior, arms folded, shield on his back, flail in hand. He doesn't speak. He just watches. The merchant goes pale and says, very quietly, "That's the one they call the Warden. We should pay the toll."

Printed at 24mm to the top of the head (32mm scale). Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Every miniature is checked before dispatch; minor marks from support removal are possible and easily tidied up with a hobby knife or fine sandpaper.
