- ✔ Equally suited to display shelves and the gaming table
The Dryad Kings is no gentle woodland spirit. This towering fey sovereign rises from a base of gnarled roots and woodland debris, its bark-hewn body carrying three distinct faces — each watching, each knowing, each utterly without mercy. Bark-plate limbs extend wide, one arm reaching forward in command while a dead-branched tree erupts from the base beside it, framing the figure with the weight of centuries of corrupted growth. This is a creature that rules the deep forest not through charm alone, but through sheer, ancient authority.
Sculpted as a display-scale piece, the Dryad Kings reads immediately as a boss encounter. The level of surface detail — deep wood-grain textures, layered bark panels, creeping root growth across the scenic base — rewards careful painting and makes an equally formidable presence on a display shelf. Whether you're running a Feywild campaign, a corrupted druid circle arc, or simply want a centrepiece that stops adventurers mid-sentence, this sculpt delivers.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a commanding BBEG or fey lord for a Feywild or ancient forest campaign
- Want a centrepiece miniature that doubles as a display piece
- Are building encounters around corrupted nature spirits or vengeful dryad courts
- Love painting large, heavily textured character sculpts with rich surface detail
Encounter Hook:
The party enters the blighted grove to find the standing stones already occupied — three bark-faced heads turning slowly to regard them, roots coiling across the path behind, and a voice like splintering heartwood asking, one by one, what debt each of them owes the forest.
Details
This is a display-scale miniature — the base measures 80mm, sized by the artist to suit a boss or centrepiece role rather than standard 32mm tabletop play. The scenic base is supplied detached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of adhesive. If you'd like to discuss alternative scaling, feel free to message us. The model arrives ready for priming and painting, or can be used as-is straight from the box.
