Dryads in D&D 5e are deceptively gentle presences — until the moment they are not. This sculpt from Monster Atlas captures that duality with care: a humanoid figure draped and entangled in living vines, her expression composed but watchful, her hands open as though offering a choice she has already decided for you. Leaf-edged robes, vine-wrapped shoulders, and a base formed from coiling roots and broad leaves give the piece a sense of motion, as though the forest floor itself is rising to meet her. The sculpt reads equally well as a CR1 woodland NPC, a Feywild guardian, or a nature domain Druid player character.

This is one of three sculpt variants in our Dryad range from Monster Atlas — each captures a distinct pose and attitude, from arms-outstretched confrontation to a more guarded, arms-drawn stance. Collect one or all three to represent the dryad across different moments in your encounter.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a fey NPC that reads as both beautiful and quietly threatening at the table
  • Are running Feywild, enchanted forest, or druidic circle storylines
  • Want a nature-themed Player Character base for a Druid or Wild Shape proxy
  • Collect display miniatures with strong character identity and dynamic basing

Encounter Hook:
The party is three days into the Whisperwood when the path ahead simply closes — bark and briar knitting together like a latch being drawn. From the canopy, a woman descends on reaching vines, her gaze moving from face to face. She already knows which one of them cut down the ash tree at the forest's edge two days ago. She is waiting to see if they will admit it.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are provided as separate pieces — a small amount of superglue brings them together, and the sculpt is designed to interact with its base, so we recommend attaching both for the full effect. Each piece is quality checked before dispatch, though minor marks from support removal are possible and can be tidied up easily before priming.
