Driders Female Drider by MZ4250
Description
Cursed by Lolth and cast into the depths of the Underdark, the Drider is a creature of terrible beauty — part dark elf, part monstrous arachnid, and wholly dangerous.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This female Drider sculpt captures everything that makes the creature so unsettling at the table. Her upper half is that of a crowned, pointed-eared elf — composed, almost serene — while her lower half is the bloated, multi-limbed body of a giant spider. In one hand she holds a curved blade; from the other, spectral flame writhes upward through clawed fingers. Eight articulated legs spread wide across a textured base, giving her an imposing silhouette that dominates the tabletop. She reads as a spellcaster and a warrior simultaneously, which makes her a deeply versatile encounter piece.
For Dungeon Masters, the Drider occupies a compelling narrative space — not merely a monster, but a fallen warrior still bearing the marks of her former grace. She works equally well as a wandering guardian of Lolth's domain, a bitter exile seeking revenge on the surface world, or the centrepiece of an entire Underdark arc. Painted or unpainted, she earns a place on any display shelf.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run Underdark campaigns or drow-focused storylines
- Need a boss-tier monster with genuine visual presence
- Want a sculpt that doubles as a display piece between sessions
- Are building out a Lolth-worshipping faction or spider cult encounter
Encounter Hook:
The party is three days into the Underdark when they find a drow patrol — every member cocooned against the tunnel wall, still alive, still watching. At the edge of the torchlight, eight legs scrape slowly across stone, and a voice like silk over broken glass asks what business surface-dwellers have in her goddess's domain.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale and attached to a sculpted base. The miniature arrives ready for priming and painting, though it also looks sharp straight out of the box for those who want it on the table immediately. As with all hand-finished resin prints, minor surface marks are possible — these are easily cleaned up with light sanding.
