The Drider Folk Priestess is a miniature that commands the table the moment she's placed on it. Astride the massive, chitinous body of her spider form — eight serrated, blade-tipped legs splayed wide and a bulbous, spine-studded abdomen behind her — she sits with the composed authority of someone who answers only to her goddess. Long, pale hair falls over her shoulders. In one hand she raises a ritual chalice, offered or threatened depending on who dares approach.

The sculpt rewards the painter at every level of skill. The spider body alone offers a wealth of textures: the segmented, spike-encrusted legs, the ridged and knobbly abdomen, and the sharp transitions between chitin and cloth where the humanoid torso meets the arachnid frame. Her robes have a clean, draped quality that contrasts beautifully with the organic menace below — ideal for washes, layering, or two-brush blending.
