This is Drider 04 from Novaminis — a fourth sculpt in their drider range, and arguably the most viscerally expressive of the lot. Where other variants in the series may be poised or predatory, this one is raw and feral. Her upper drow body is thrown back, mouth open in a shriek or a battle cry, arms wide as though she has just torn free of something. The spider abdomen looms behind her, bulbous and textured, while all eight legs splay outward in sharp, barbed points that give the sculpt an extraordinary spread and presence on the table.

The low, wide stance makes her distinctive in a lineup — she reads not as a hunter circling her prey, but as a creature at the breaking point, lashing out in all directions. That energy makes her just as compelling as a display piece as she is a table encounter. Painted, she will reward a contrast of pale drow skin against the chitinous darkness of her spider half — try a deep purple-black carapace with bioluminescent spot highlights to really lean into the Underdark aesthetic.

This particular sculpt works brilliantly as a non-standard encounter — not just a guardian or ambush predator, but a drider in the grip of Lolth's madness, perhaps mid-ritual, mid-rage, or mid-transformation. She brings narrative weight to whatever scene you place her in.
