Description

She rests one hand against her cheek with unnerving calm, the other gripping her spear — and eight segmented legs carry her forward with a patience that suggests she has already decided how this ends.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 02 of our Drider range, sculpted by Galaad Miniatures. Where some driders lunge and snarl, this one commands. Her posture is almost languid — elven features composed and sharp-eyed above a spider's thorax armoured in overlapping chitinous plates — and that calm makes her far more unsettling than any open aggression. She holds a long spear with practised ease, one hand raised to her jaw as though she's already calculating the outcome of your party's next move. She'd serve equally well as a Underdark warlord, a drow exile who struck a terrible bargain with Lolth, or the mastermind behind the silk-wrapped disappearances in a subterranean trade route.

The sculpt rewards painters and collectors alike. The articulated spider legs are individually detailed with segmented joints, the spider abdomen carries a beautifully scaled carapace, and the scenic rubble base grounds the whole piece with a sense of underground terrain. Whether you're painting her for the tabletop or displaying her on a shelf, there's detail here to work with at every level.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a drider NPC or boss monster with genuine presence and character
  • Are building an Underdark arc featuring drow politics, spider cultists, or Lolth's web of influence
  • Want a display piece that earns a second glance from anyone who sees it
  • Are collecting multiple drider poses to represent a warband or web-lair encounter

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a series of disappearances along the Deepstone Trade Road — merchants, scouts, and one unfortunate cartographer. When they finally reach the source, they find her waiting at the centre of a vast silk-strung chamber, one leg resting on a neatly stacked pile of gear she's taken from the others. She doesn't attack. She makes them an offer. That's the worst part.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — the base and figure are sculpted to work together, and the finished piece looks its best when assembled as intended. As with all hand-finished prints, minor surface marks may occasionally occur; these are easily addressed before painting. Comes unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brush or to display as-is in grey.
