Description

It came through the summoning circle screaming, arms spread wide, jaw unhinged — and it hasn't stopped since.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Dretch is one of the lowest rungs of the Abyssal hierarchy, but don't let that fool you into dismissing it. These bloated, foul-tempered demons are called in swarms, used as cannon fodder by more powerful fiends, or summoned by foolhardy warlocks who underestimate just how much chaos a single shrieking creature can cause. This sculpt captures the Dretch mid-roar — head thrown back, jagged teeth bared, both clawed hands spread wide as if it's about to embrace something it fully intends to bite. The stubby horns, warty hide, and hunched muscular bulk are all present and accounted for, making this a characterful and recognisable addition to any Abyssal encounter.

Whether you're running a demon invasion, a corrupted summoning gone wrong, or simply need a grotesque little horror to unsettle your players, this Dretch delivers the atmosphere in spades. It works equally well as a gaming piece on the battlemat or as a display mini for collectors who appreciate the weirder corners of the monster manual.

Brilliant for adventurers who:

  • Need Abyssal demons to populate Underdark or corrupted planar encounters
  • Are building a warlock's summoning-gone-wrong set piece
  • Want a mid-roar creature sculpt that reads clearly across the table
  • Collect fiend-type minis for display or themed dioramas
  • Are painting projects that reward texture work — warty skin and open jaws are a painter's delight

Encounter Hook:
The warlock's ritual notes were water-damaged — three of the binding glyphs were illegible. When the circle flared and went dark, everyone assumed it had simply failed. Then something started laughing from beneath the floorboards, and the scratching began.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale, mounted on a flat round base, and delivered as a single piece ready for priming and painting. As with all hand-checked prints, minor surface marks are possible — these are easily tidied up before painting and in no way affect the character of the sculpt.
