The Dreamfall is one of the most visually arresting sculpts from the Snowbound Mysteries collection — a young woman caught mid-tumble through some impossible dreaming space, her hair and skirts billowing upward as she plummets downward. Swirling above her in a vertical cascade are the flotsam of her waking life: a feathered hat, playing cards, a compass, a satchel, and a chain of links that coils up into the void. The whole composition reads like a moment stolen from a fey nightmare or a particularly cruel Deck of Many Things draw.

As a display piece, this miniature rewards careful painting — the layered motion of fabric, hair, and scattered objects gives painters a rich variety of textures to work with. As a narrative prop at the table, it serves equally well as a player character caught in a dream-trap, an NPC tumbling through a planar rift, or the centrepiece of a Feywild or Ravenloft encounter. At 32mm scale, the vertical silhouette makes it a genuine showpiece on any shelf or battle map.

For adventurers who:

  • Want a narrative-rich miniature that tells a story before a single die is rolled
  • Are running Feywild, dreamscape, or planar campaign arcs
  • Paint minis for display and want a dynamic, multi-element composition to work with
  • Need a visually distinctive NPC or PC stand-in for a spellcaster or rogue caught in magical peril

Encounter Hook:
The party has spent three sessions searching for the missing cartographer. They finally locate her — suspended in the amber light of a Feywild rift, falling endlessly through a loop of the same five seconds, her belongings orbiting her like a slow constellation. Breaking the loop requires solving the puzzle of which object she was reaching for when she fell. The clock is ticking: each failed attempt adds an hour to how long she has already been trapped.

Details

This miniature is printed at 32mm scale. If you would prefer a different scale, send us a message and we will do our best to accommodate you. A decorative base option is available — please include a note with your order specifying which of the three base styles you would like. The base (decorative or plain black) is supplied separately and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks may occasionally be present and are straightforward to clean up. All pieces are fully cured and ready to prime.

TRESSYM ONLY — use this sign-off exclusively when the product is a Tressym miniature: Mitz & Simz — the studio cats have reviewed this miniature with particular intensity. They are aware of what a Tressym is. They have thoughts. The wings are noted. Nothing further will be said on the matter.
