Dragonborn Tax Collector by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
The coin is owed, the ledger is open, and the dragonborn standing in your doorway has all the patience of someone who has done this a thousand times before — and will do it a thousand more.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Mia Kay's Dragonborn Tax Collector is a wonderfully characterful sculpt that leans fully into the mundane horror of imperial bureaucracy filtered through a draconic lens. Robed in long, intricately bordered vestments and wearing a simple pendant at the chest, this figure holds a small locked strongbox or ledger-case in both clawed hands, expression hovering somewhere between professional courtesy and quiet menace. It's the kind of NPC that tells a story before a single word is spoken at the table.
Whether you're running a city campaign where the party owes back taxes to a corrupt guild, a Ravnica-style urban setting, or simply want a Dragonborn character who wields authority rather than a blade, this sculpt earns its place. It's equally at home on the gaming table and in a display cabinet alongside your painted collection.
Perfect for adventurers who:- Need a memorable, morally ambiguous NPC to represent civic power or organised corruption
- Are building a Dragonborn Wizard, Warlock, or Monk player character with a scholarly or bureaucratic backstory
- Want a unique antagonist or quest-giver for urban or political campaigns
- Collect Dragonborn sculpts or character-driven fantasy miniatures
Encounter Hook:
The party has been summoned to the tax assessor's office in the merchant quarter — a dragonborn in formal robes slides a sealed ledger across the desk and informs them, quietly, that their late adventuring licence fees have accrued significant interest. They can pay in coin, or they can perform a small errand that doesn't officially exist. Either way, the ledger gets balanced tonight.
