Description

It prowls the ruins of its former hoard-hall, scales still gleaming with draconic lustre but eyes hollow with undead hunger — a ghoul that remembers what it was to breathe fire.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Dragonborn Ghoul is a deeply unsettling encounter for any party that thought they understood the undead. This creature retains the imposing physicality of its living form — broad, scaled shoulders, a crown of bony horns, and those devastating clawed hands — but draconic pride has curdled into something predatory and hollow. The sculpt captures it mid-stalk: arms low and ready, jaw agape with a serpentine tongue extended, every scale and talon rendered with striking clarity. It is the kind of miniature that lands on the table and immediately tells a story.

For Dungeon Masters, this is a rare opportunity to subvert expectations. A ghoul is usually a backdrop threat. A dragonborn ghoul is a named horror — perhaps the fallen champion of a draconic cult, or a once-proud adventurer cursed by a lich's bargain. For collectors, the sculpt's detail rewards careful painting: the scales offer layering opportunities, and the contrast between the creature's powerful frame and its vacant, hungry expression gives painters real character to work with.

A brilliant choice for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable, lore-rich undead encounter beyond the standard ghoul pack
  • Are running campaigns touching on draconic cults, fallen civilisations, or undead corruption
  • Want a centrepiece enemy NPC with genuine visual presence at the table
  • Collect creature miniatures for display and want something with serious sculptural detail

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the abandoned dragonborn quarter of a ruined city, seeking a relic said to be buried in its vaults. The streets are quiet until a familiar voice calls out — the name of one party member, spoken with unsettling accuracy. Emerging from the shadows is the ghoul that was once their contact in this city, jaw stretched wide, scaled fists dragging along the cobblestones, asking them to stay.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale and supplied as a single piece attached to a round base. The miniature arrives ready to prime and paint, or use straight from the box for your next session. As with all high-detail resin prints, minor support marks may occasionally be present — these are easily tidied up with a file or hobby knife.
