Description

The lair smells of ancient ash and something older — and at its centre, half-buried in gold and bone, rests a skull the size of a carriage.

  • ✔ Display-scale miniature — larger than standard 32mm gaming scale
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Equally suited to display shelves and the gaming table

Dragon skulls are among the most evocative relics a dungeon master can place on the table. Whether it marks the tomb of a forgotten wyrm, the centrepiece of a necromancer's sanctum, or a trophy claimed by some even greater power, this sculpt by Mia Kay carries real weight. The broad cranial ridges, swept horns, heavy jawline, and rows of jagged teeth give it the look of something that truly lived — and truly terrorised — before whatever end befell it.

As scatter terrain or a display piece, this skull reads immediately as the remains of a creature of enormous age and power. It suits chromatic and metallic dragon lore equally well, and works across settings from classic high fantasy to darker, more gothic campaigns. Painters will find plenty of surface interest in the scales, deep eye sockets, and layered bone textures.

Fits well for adventurers who:

  • Need striking scatter terrain to dress a dragon's lair or dungeon floor
  • Are building encounter maps for kobold den or dragon cult scenarios
  • Want a centrepiece prop for dramatic campaign reveals
  • Collect fantasy creature skulls and bones for display shelves
  • Are looking for a characterful painting project with strong surface detail

Encounter Hook:
The kobolds have been making offerings to it for years — placing gems in the eye sockets, chanting in Draconic at the witching hour. When the party finally enters the chamber, the jaw is open. The offerings are gone. The teeth are wet.
