This is no fire-breathing monster. The Dragon Merchant is something far more interesting: a portly, turbaned figure of considerable influence, robed in layered garments decorated with coin motifs, who deals not in swords or spell scrolls but in dragonkind itself. Two young wyrmlings accompany him — one perched on his shoulder with wings spread wide, one cradled in his hands with its long tail coiling to the ground — while an open chest of dragon eggs sits at his feet. Whether he breeds them, sells them, or simply knows things about them that no one else does, that's entirely up to your campaign.
The sculpt captures a merchant of real presence and moral ambiguity — the sort of NPC who can derail an entire session just by appearing. He reads equally as a black market exotic dealer, a Draconic cult liaison, a Faerûnian curiosity trader, or a quirky recurring contact with dangerous connections.
