Description

From the scorched wastes where the sky burns amber and nothing lives that cannot kill, Groldrar spreads his tattered wings and screams a challenge to a dying world.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Groldrar is no mere dragonborn warrior — he is something older and more terrible. Part sorcerer, part apex predator, his silhouette is that of a creature that has shed every last trace of humanoid softness. Massive ribbed wings, ragged at the edges as though they've torn through stone and storm alike, frame a body of angular chitinous plates and grasping taloned limbs. His elongated skull bristles with curved horns and needle fangs, and he perches atop a weathered rock formation as though surveying a kingdom that already belongs to him. This is a miniature that tells a story before a single die is rolled.

The sculpt from Primal Collectibles' Wasteland range captures three distinct aspects of the character across this listing — each angle revealing new details, from the serrated ridge of his tail to the articulated fingers of his wing membranes. Whether you place him at the centre of a ruined throne room or atop a display plinth, he commands the space around him entirely.

Groldrar suits adventurers who:

  • Need a genuinely fearsome BBEG or named boss monster for a desert or wasteland campaign arc
  • Want a large-scale centrepiece mini for a climactic encounter against a draconic sorcerer-king
  • Are building a display collection of dramatic, high-detail creature sculpts
  • Play or run games using dragon-adjacent monsters — use him as a unique dracolich, a corrupted dragon sovereign, or an ancient draconian warlord

Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the source of the blighted sandstorms to a plateau of black glass — and there, perched at its peak, Groldrar turns slowly to face them. He has been expecting them. He has been expecting someone like them for three hundred years. The question is whether he wants to destroy them or recruit them.

Groldrar is printed at 32mm scale and comes with a detailed scenic rocky base as a separate piece, designed to be attached with a small amount of glue. The base integrates closely with the model's pose, so we recommend attaching it for the best presentation. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming and painting, or striking straight out of the box in bare resin.
