Dr Corvus is not a man easily forgotten. This sculpt from Great Grimoire captures him mid-stride, his iconic beaked plague doctor mask turned forward with unsettling purpose. In his left hand he carries a long staff topped with an ornate mechanical lantern, its cage-like housing suggesting instruments of both medicine and menace. On his outstretched right arm, wings spread wide, perches a crow — alert, watchful, and clearly more than an ordinary bird. His long coat is layered with belts, pouches, and a tome strapped at the hip, the kit of a man who deals in knowledge no reputable healer would claim. This is pose 02 of our Dr Corvus range.
Whether you play him as a morally ambiguous healer, a masked occultist in service to a plague god, a Ravenloft investigator with secrets of his own, or an unsettling guide into dark corners of your city, Dr Corvus brings immediate narrative weight the moment he touches the table. He works equally well as a display piece — the crow and lantern make him a standout centrepiece on any collector's shelf.
Sought out by adventurers who:
- Need a distinctive plague doctor NPC or villain for a gothic or Ravenloft campaign
- Are building a city gripped by disease, conspiracy, or dark alchemy
- Want a characterful Artificer, Wizard, or Warlock player character option
- Paint miniatures and want a sculpt full of texture, story, and detail
- Collect display pieces that hold their own without a coat of paint
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a series of unexplained deaths in the merchant quarter — each victim found with their eyes open, lips moving soundlessly, and a single black feather pressed into their palm. The trail leads to a candlelit surgery on the edge of the slums, where Dr Corvus receives them without surprise, pours four cups of something dark and herbal, and says: "I wondered when someone sensible would come. Sit down. We have very little time."
Details
What's included: Dr Corvus with Crow is scaled to 32mm. A decorative base option is available — five styles to choose from: Bricks Scene, Forest Scene, Rock Scene, Tree Scene, or Wood Scene. Please include your base preference in your order notes. The base (decorative or plain) is supplied separately and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. Support marks are removed as part of our process; minor surface variation is a natural part of high-detail resin work and can be cleaned up before priming.
