Few monsters unsettle a table quite like the doppelganger. This bundle from Novaminis captures that creeping wrongness in physical form — two distinct sculpts of the shapeshifter in its true, unformed state: a smooth, featureless face with hollow eye sockets, a powerfully built humanoid frame, and limbs that hang with an uncanny readiness. These are not creatures caught mid-transformation — they are doppelgangers fully revealed, and that is arguably more frightening.

Variation 01 shows the creature in a measured, upright stance — arms loose at its sides, weight shifting forward, as though it has just dropped a disguise and is deciding whether it needs another. The pose is deliberate and deeply unsettling; painted in pale, skin-like tones it would read as something almost human from a distance. Variation 02 is altogether more aggressive — wide stance, knees bent, one arm thrust forward with grasping fingers and the other drawn back.
