The Doppelganger is one of the most quietly terrifying creatures in the monster manual: not because of raw power, but because of what it represents. This sculpt from Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures the creature in its natural, unmasked state — a tall, lean humanoid form with a smooth, featureless face, sunken vestigial eyes, and long reaching fingers that hang at its sides with unsettling patience. At 36mm tall, it stands just a fraction above a standard human mini, giving it that slightly off, uncanny quality that makes doppelgangers so effective at the table.
Two distinct poses are visible across this sculpt range. This listing covers pose 01 — the upright, confrontational stance, arms slightly raised and clawed fingers spread, as though the creature has just shed its latest disguise and sees no further need for pretence. The lean musculature and elongated proportions are faithfully rendered, with enough anatomical detail to reward a careful painter — deep flesh tones, mottled grey skin, and hollow eye sockets all lend themselves brilliantly to wet blending and layering techniques.
