Doppelgangers are among the most dangerous creatures a party can encounter — not because of their strength, but because of what they take from you: trust. This sculpt captures one in a rare unguarded moment, its true form on full display. Smooth, featureless grey skin stretches over a compact, humanoid frame. Narrow, pupil-less eyes sit beneath a bald, rounded head. The creature stands with an almost casual confidence, cradling what appears to be a grotesque creature mask — a prop for whatever disguise it is currently between. A prehensile tail curves up behind it, and segmented armour wraps its torso, hinting at a creature that is more worldly and prepared than its blank exterior suggests.

The detail on the worn armour strapping, the textured sash at the waist, and the pouch-laden belt all suggest a doppelganger who has been in the field for some time — an infiltrator rather than a feral shapeshifter.
