Description
They said the dodo was extinct — they never accounted for one with a double bass, a wide-brimmed hat, and a Bardic Inspiration die that never seems to run out.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This Dodo Birdfolk Bard is one of the most characterful avian sculpts you'll find for the tabletop. Broad-beaked and broad-hatted, this strutting musician leans into his oversized bass fiddle with the swagger of someone who has talked his way out of — and into — far more trouble than his Charisma score should allow. The open shirt, talon feet mid-step, and expressive beak-wide pose give him a personality that leaps off the base before a single drop of paint is applied.
Whether you're running a humanoid birdfolk race, a quirky college-of-lore bard, or simply need the most distinctive NPC to ever wander into a port-town tavern, this sculpt does the heavy lifting. Available in two sculpts — a front-facing pose and a profile view — each captures the same irrepressible musical energy from a different angle. Both are equally well-suited to gaming and display collecting.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Play birdfolk, aarakocra, or kenku bard characters and want a mini with genuine character
- Need a memorable tavern NPC, travelling minstrel, or quest-giving eccentric
- Are building a birdfolk faction, ensemble, or street-performer scene
- Want a display piece that commands attention on a shelf as much as a battlemat
Encounter Hook:
The party enters the Salted Barnacle Inn to find every patron transfixed — a dodo in a battered hat is slapping out a furious rhythm on a bass fiddle twice his size, and between verses he's dropping very specific details about the harbour master's smuggling operation, seemingly by accident. Does he know more than he's letting on, or is he simply the greatest blabbermouth in three kingdoms?
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model comes either attached to its base as a single piece, or with base detached for easy customisation — just a dab of glue to secure. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks may occasionally occur and are easily tidied up. Each piece is fully cured and ready for priming and painting, or looks equally sharp straight out of the box as an unpainted display piece.
