Dusty is a heavily loaded pack donkey, sculpted with the kind of lived-in detail that brings a travelling scene to life. His back is stacked high with bulging sacks and pouches — round leather bags stitched and worn at the seams, rope-netted bundles knotted with thick cord, and a draping cloth saddle blanket that falls to his flanks. A fitted bridle sits snugly on his head, and his posture reads as that of an animal who has been doing this job a very long time and has strong opinions about it. The sculpt captures texture throughout — stitched leather, coiled rope, dimpled fabric — making Dusty as rewarding to paint as he is to place on the table.

Whether he's trailing behind a merchant convoy, tethered outside a roadside inn, or central to a trade-route ambush scene, Dusty grounds any encounter in the mundane reality of fantasy travel.
