Description

It burst from the treeline before anyone could react — all muscle, matted fur, and that wrong, too-human face twisted into a grin.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This sculpt from La Louve 3D captures something deeply unsettling: a canine creature caught mid-leap, one forelimb extended and claws splayed, hindquarters torqued and tail curling upward — pure predatory momentum frozen in miniature form. The face is where the horror lives. Those wide, blank eyes and lolling tongue suggest something more than animal, something that knows exactly what it's doing. Whether you're running it as a jackalwere, a cursed beast, a Fey-touched hound, or a druidic companion gone feral, this mini carries serious narrative weight.

The texturing across the body is exceptional — layered fur rendered with clear directionality, lean musculature visible beneath, and a sculpted terrain base that grounds the dynamic pose. This is pose 2 of the Dog Companion range, distinguished by its airborne, lunging stance compared to other variants.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a beast encounter mini with genuine menace on the board
  • Are running jackalwere, yeth hound, or cursed-animal encounters in D&D 5e
  • Want a ranger's or druid's companion that looks like it means business
  • Collect detailed beast miniatures for painting projects or display shelves

Encounter Hook:
The village shepherd swore the missing livestock were taken by wolves — but when the party finds the remains, the bite marks are wrong, and the tracks shift from four paws to two feet halfway across the muddy field.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are separate pieces for easier painting and assembly — a small amount of glue brings them together, and the pose is designed to interact with the base. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. We quality-check every piece before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up.
