Djinni in a Bottle (Rabasa) by DM Stash
Description
Bound for centuries within enchanted glass, Rabasa does not emerge gently — he erupts, a tempest of smoke and fury, scimitar in one hand and arcane staff in the other, demanding to know who dares hold his vessel.

Rabasa is a djinni unlike the gentle wish-granters of fable. This sculpt captures him mid-manifestation — his lower body dissolving into great churning clouds of elemental smoke, robes whipping in an unseen wind as he rises from the maelstrom. His muscular torso is wrapped in swirling, almost organic-looking smoke-flesh, spiked at the shoulders and knotted with elemental energy. Twin curved horns curl from a skull that trails wisps of smoke like a flame refusing to be extinguished.
In his right hand he carries an engraved scimitar, its blade etched with decorative knotwork, held low and ready to strike. In his left, a tall ceremonial staff rises above him, its shaft carved with runic bands and topped with a layered circular finial — the kind of implement that channels elemental power as readily as it bludgeons the foolish. The base beneath him is a billowing cloud of summoning smoke, anchored with carved decorative stonework, giving the impression that Rabasa is still in the act of emerging from wherever he was imprisoned.
This is a miniature with genuine presence on the tabletop — the swirling smoke base alone gives him a height and drama that makes him stand out in any encounter. Equally compelling as a display piece for adventurers who want something truly distinctive on their painting shelf.
A great choice for adventurers who:
- Run desert, elemental plane, or Arabian Nights-inspired campaigns
- Need a djinni, genie, or bound elemental as an encounter centrepiece or BBEG
- Want a dramatic, dynamic mini that tells a story without a single word of flavour text
- Are looking for a showpiece painting project with complex texture and layered forms
- Play or run games featuring powerful elemental entities, wishes, or ancient pacts
Encounter Hook: The party has finally located the Bottle of the Wandering Flame, believed to be just another piece of loot in a merchant's collection. But the moment the rogue uncorks it — drawn by the faint warmth within — Rabasa surges forth in a column of smoke and crackling air, furious, ancient, and absolutely not in the mood to grant three wishes to anyone who couldn't be bothered to learn the proper summoning rites.
