This is the Djinni 1E — pose 1 of The Toadstool Weaver's Djinni range — and he is not a creature you summon lightly. Rendered in this sculpt as a powerfully built, shaven-headed figure with a neatly trimmed beard and decorated armband cuffs, his hands are drawn together in that particular gesture that suggests he is already three moves ahead of your party. His expression is equal parts amusement and calculation — a genie who has heard every bargain, seen through every loophole, and is already composing the catch in his head. Robes billow at his waist, half-obscuring a form that radiates the casual, colossal strength of an Elemental lord.

As an NPC, he works beautifully as an ancient bound spirit testing the party's cleverness, a mercantile power broker in an Arabian Nights-flavoured campaign, or a Plane of Air emissary whose patience is visibly, dangerously finite. Equally at home on a display shelf as on the encounter map — this sculpt rewards careful painting, with well-defined musculature, expressive facial detail, and those gem-cut armband diamonds begging for a jewel-tone highlight.

Drawn to this miniature? It suits adventurers who:

  • Need an Elemental NPC with genuine gravitas for a desert, planar, or Arabian-themed campaign
  • Are building a Plane of Air or City of Brass encounter centred on wish-granting intrigue
  • Want a characterful boss-level NPC that reads as calculating rather than simply threatening
  • Collect display-quality fantasy miniatures with strong facial and sculptural character

Encounter Hook:
The party has been summoned before the Djinni not as petitioners, but as accused — three wishes were granted in this city last month, and all three recipients are now dead. The Djinni insists the wishes were fulfilled to the letter. He is smiling as he says it.
