The displacer beast is one of D&D's most iconic predators: a six-legged, panther-like monstrosity bristling with two writhing tentacles tipped in wicked spines, gifted with a supernatural displacement ability that makes every attack roll a gamble. These are creatures of the Underdark and deep wilderness alike — patient hunters that stalk their prey for hours before closing the distance in a terrifying burst of muscle and savagery.

This bundle brings you both sculpts from Yasashii Kyojin Studio's displacer beast range. The first stands in a heavy, deliberate prowl — head low, tentacles arched high, every tendon in its thick frame coiled with restrained aggression. The second is caught mid-lunge, body dropped into a crouching charge, spine arched and tentacles raised to strike. Together they capture the full hunting sequence: the stalk and the kill. Both sculpts show off exceptional anatomical detail — defined musculature across the haunches and shoulders, broad blunt-nosed feline heads with heavy brow ridges, and those signature tentacles curving overhead with serrated edges clearly visible along their length.

Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked a missing shepherd into the old growth forest — but the trail ends abruptly in a wide circle of flattened grass and scattered wool. Then the undergrowth to the east shifts. Then the undergrowth to the west shifts. The displacement effect means neither reading is trustworthy, and something with six legs and two barbed tentacles is very much still here.

This bundle includes both displacer beast sculpts — the prowling pose and the pouncing pose — sculpted at 32mm scale. Both are supplied unpainted and unprimed in grey resin, support-free and ready for your brushwork or base coat straight away. As with all high-detail resin miniatures, minor surface marks from the print process may occasionally be present and are easily tidied before painting.
