The Disk of Fire is a dynamic scatter terrain piece depicting a low, spreading burst of elemental flame. The sculpt captures flame in full motion — tongues of fire curling upward from a wide oval base, each tendril twisting with organic energy. It reads equally well as a campfire gone wrong, a summoning circle's aftermath, a hazard tile on a volcanic map, or a conjured Wall of Fire spell effect brought to three dimensions. The detail is fluid and naturalistic, making it a strong centrepiece for any fire-themed encounter zone.
Whether you're building out an Elemental Chaos encounter, setting the scene for a Pyromancer's lair, or simply want a striking piece of scatter terrain to make your battle map feel alive, this piece earns its place on the table — and looks just as good on a display shelf.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run fire-themed encounters — volcanic dungeons, elemental planes, or infernal lairs
- Want terrain that doubles as a spell effect marker or hazard token
- Are building a diorama or display scene featuring fire elementals or pyromancers
- Love scatter terrain that adds genuine atmosphere, not just filler
Encounter Hook:
The party crosses the ancient forge room and the floor map shows six of these disks scattered in a grid — the Archmage's trap activates, and every tile becomes difficult terrain as living fire erupts beneath their feet. The ranger goes first. The fire does not care.
Scaled to 32mm. The model with the simple base comes as one piece, attached to the base. The model with plain base is supplied with the base detached and can be easily secured with a small amount of glue. Arrives ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box as an unpainted display or gaming piece.
