Description

He's checked the list twice, and your name is absolutely on it — whether that's good news or bad news depends entirely on your party's behaviour.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the Disciplined Elf from Great Grimoire's Wicked Carols collection — a gloriously characterful workshop bureaucrat who means business. Spectacles perched on his nose, a magnificent curling scroll unfurling to the floor, and a quill raised with the authority of someone who has not slept since the winter solstice, this miniature practically hums with administrative urgency. He wears sturdy dungarees, a jaunty pointed hat, and the expression of someone who has heard every excuse and documented all of them.

Whether he serves as a harried quartermaster in a fey winter court, an officious guild clerk who holds the key to your next quest, or the suspiciously knowledgeable keeper of records in an ancient elven archive, the Disciplined Elf is the kind of NPC who can derail an entire session with one raised eyebrow. He's equally at home on a festive-themed encounter table or a year-round campaign — this is a character with far too much paperwork to be seasonal.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable, bureaucratic NPC or quest-giver with genuine personality
  • Are running festive, Feywild, or winter-court themed campaigns
  • Want a gnome or elf workshop administrator or record-keeper
  • Are collectors who appreciate expressive, narrative-rich sculpts
  • Are painting enthusiasts looking for a miniature with fantastic surface detail — the scroll, the quill, the lenses, and the curling hat all reward careful brushwork

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the Winter Court's grand archive to retrieve a stolen deed — only to find their path blocked by a small, spectacled elf who informs them, with infuriating calm, that they are not on the approved visitor register. He gestures to his scroll. It is very, very long. He suggests they wait.

A plain black base is included as standard; a decorative base is available as an upgrade — simply send a note with your order to specify which of the three base options you'd prefer. Bases arrive separate and attach easily with a small amount of glue. As with all hand-finished prints, minor surface marks are possible and easily tidied up before painting.
