This sculpt from Epic Miniatures captures a dire wolf at its most dangerous — body low and driving forward, legs splayed in a predatory crouch, head dipped with mouth wide open in a full snarl. The fur across the shoulders and chest erupts in layered, blade-like hackles, giving the creature a wild, almost elemental ferocity. The thick tail fans out behind it like a war banner, adding to the sense of raw momentum. Every tuft and strand of fur has been rendered with remarkable texture, making this a genuinely rewarding piece to paint — from the coarse outer coat to the dense underlay beneath the chest.
