This Dinosaur Hatchling from Epic Miniatures is no ordinary baby beast. Sculpted with a single bulging cyclopean eye, a gaping maw packed with jagged teeth, and a hide that appears sunken and desiccated — almost mummified — this hatchling carries the unmistakable look of something that has returned from beyond death rather than just emerged from an egg. Its bipedal raptor-like frame is caught mid-stride, small forearms raised and clawed feet splayed, the tail swept back for balance. The surface detail is exceptional: layered folds of stretched skin ripple across the torso, tiny bony protrusions dot the skull, and a single prominent horn crowns the head.
Despite its diminutive scale — sitting on a medium 25.5mm base — this hatchling reads as genuinely unsettling on the table.
