Description
He gives nothing away — not his name, not his purpose, not the knife at his belt — and yet every eye in the souk follows him as he passes.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Dhakir ibn Farid al-Ghaib cuts a quietly commanding figure: robes layered for the desert wind, a wide sash belt cinching his silhouette, and a face masked to the eyes by a wrapped keffiyeh-style cloth. His expression, visible only in that narrow strip above the veil, is sharp and calculating — the look of someone who has survived entirely on his wits and his discretion. One hand rests at his belt near the hilt of a short blade; the other is relaxed at his side. He is not threatening you. He is simply making sure you know he could.
Whether you play him as a rogue-class player character, a mysterious quest-giver, a desert spy, or the agent of a shadowy faction, this miniature brings a distinct visual identity to the table. His name — al-Ghaib, meaning "the absent" or "the unseen" — tells you everything you need to know about how he prefers to operate.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Need a morally ambiguous NPC or recurring contact in a desert or city-of-intrigue campaign
- Are playing a Rogue, Monk, or Warlock with a Middle Eastern or Arabian Nights aesthetic
- Want a figure that works equally well as a player character or a memorable villain
- Collect fantasy miniatures inspired by non-European cultures and settings
Encounter Hook:
The party has been in the market quarter for an hour when they notice him — the same veiled figure, three stalls back, at every turn. When they finally confront Dhakir ibn Farid al-Ghaib, he doesn't run. He simply tilts his head and says, quietly, that he was sent to find them before someone less courteous did. He has a letter. It is sealed with a crest none of them recognise. He will not say who sent him. He will say that the answer is worth more than the question — and then he sets his price.
Details
Dhakir ibn Farid al-Ghaib is supplied at 32mm scale and comes with a plain round base, with a decorative base option also available — please send a note with your order to let us know which of the three decorative base styles you'd prefer. Bases are supplied unattached and can be fixed easily with a small amount of hobby glue. The miniature arrives unpainted and ready for priming, though he looks equally striking left as-is for gaming use.
