Description

The ground trembles before it even comes into view — then the Devilhorn Bull crests the ridge, horns sweeping wide as a grown man's arm-span, mane billowing like a storm-front, and every instinct in the party screams run.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is a Large-base miniature — mounted on a 51mm oval base — and it earns every millimetre of that footprint. The Devilhorn Bull is sculpted mid-lunge, front legs driving down into the ground as it gathers power for a charge, haunches coiled and ready. The pose communicates raw, unstoppable momentum without a single static element.

The sculpt's detail rewards close attention: a vast leonine mane falls in heavy, layered ropes around the creature's shoulders and chest, while the fetlocks and tail tuft erupt in wild tufted fur. The horns — two great sweeping curves — arch back from the brow like a trophy hunter's nightmare. Muscular flanks ripple with naturalistic anatomy, giving this beast a sense of genuine weight and physicality that will translate beautifully once washed and drybrushed.

Whether you paint it as a natural-world terror — tawny hide, dark mane, blood-darkened horns — or push it into something more fantastical with bone-white flanks and bioluminescent markings, the Devilhorn Bull has the surface complexity to reward either approach. It reads clearly at arm's length across a table and holds up to close inspection on a display shelf.

A good choice for adventurers who:

  • Need a Large creature encounter that feels genuinely threatening without a dragon's budget
  • Are running wilderness, grassland, or mountain encounters with dangerous megafauna
  • Want a compelling centrepiece for an arena combat, gladiatorial pit, or hunting lodge diorama
  • Collect high-detail beast miniatures for display painting projects
  • Are using the Gorgon, Aurochs, or custom beast statblock and want a miniature to match

Encounter Hook: The village of Thornwick has not sent a courier in three weeks. When the party investigates the old drove road through the high pastures, they find the wagons overturned, the goods untouched — and a trail of hoofprints the size of serving platters leading off into the gorse. The rancher's eldest daughter, the only survivor, says it had a lion's mane and horns like scythes. She says it didn't run away. It watched them.
