Description
She descends from the Astral Plane not with thunder, but with the quiet certainty of a being who has witnessed the rise and fall of empires — and judged every one of them.
- ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
This Deva bust from Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures a celestial in the full spread of flight — wings arched wide, each feather layered with extraordinary precision from the dense, ribbed covert feathers at the shoulders to the long, elegant primaries at the wingtips. Her expression is composed and watchful, her hair swept back by the rush of altitude, and her body angled in a forward dive — one hand curled as though reaching for something mortal souls cannot see. This is a sculpt that rewards time with a brush: the feather texture alone offers hours of painting interest, and the face carries just enough weight to suggest a being older than most gods your players have ever angered.
As a bust rather than a full combat miniature, this piece is designed to showcase technique, texture, and character. She reads equally well as an Astral Deva, a fallen celestial on the cusp of redemption, a divine messenger, or the distant patron of a Warlock whose gifts carry an unsettling price. For painters, she is a display project of genuine depth. For Dungeon Masters, she is a prop that places something unmistakably divine in front of your players.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Paint display busts and want a sculpt with layered feather and fabric texture to work into
- Collect celestial or angelic miniatures for a fantasy display shelf
- Need a striking visual prop for a divine NPC, patron, or celestial encounter
- Are building a Warlock, Cleric, or Paladin character with celestial ties
Encounter Hook:
The party's airship is three days from port when a figure appears off the bow — not flying towards them, but hovering perfectly still, wings fully extended, blocking the route entirely. She doesn't speak first. She waits. The captain has gone pale. Whatever message this Deva carries, it was sent by someone who doesn't ask twice.
Details
This is a bust-format miniature, scaled for display rather than standard 32mm tabletop use. The wingspan is substantial and makes for a commanding centrepiece on a shelf or gaming table. Supplied unpainted in grey resin, ready for primer and paint. We remove all supports before dispatch and quality-check every piece before it leaves us — minor surface marks are rare but possible and can be cleaned up with fine sandpaper.
