Florian the Fallen is no mere soldier gone astray. He is a knight who has seen something that broke his fealty entirely, and now he wanders the ruin of his convictions, bearing a wind-torn battle standard like a wound he refuses to close. His layered plate and chainmail armour is weathered but intact — the armour of someone who once earned respect — while the ragged cloak billowing behind him speaks to hard miles and harder choices. The broken blades and debris scattered across his base tell the story of a battle he survived but did not win in any meaningful sense.

From the front, that tattered flag commands the eye: a great torn banner snapping dramatically in an unseen wind, mounted on a twisted pole gripped in one gauntleted hand. A long sword hangs at his side, drawn just enough to suggest he hasn't forgotten how to use it. His hooded, beaked mask conceals his face entirely — there is no reading this man's expression, only his posture, and his posture says he has nothing left to lose. Whether he's a haunted NPC with a devastating backstory, a villain the party slowly comes to understand, or a fallen paladin player character on the road to redemption, Florian brings genuine weight to any table.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a morally complex knight NPC for a military campaign or political intrigue arc
  • Are running a fallen paladin or oath-breaker character arc
  • Want a named villain or rival with visible history written into every detail of the sculpt
  • Collect display-worthy miniatures that tell a story before a single brushstroke is applied

Encounter Hook:
The party finds Florian standing alone at the edge of a razed village, the tattered standard of a now-dissolved knightly order planted in the ash. He doesn't attack when they approach — he simply asks them whose colours they ride under, and whether those colours have ever made them do something they're still trying to forget.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The figure and decorative rubble base are separate pieces — the base features shattered blades and broken shield fragments that interact with the pose, so we recommend attaching it with superglue for the full effect. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brush or striking as an unpainted display piece.

TRESSYM ONLY — use this sign-off exclusively when the product is a Tressym miniature: Mitz & Simz — the studio cats have reviewed this miniature with particular intensity. They are aware of what a Tressym is. They have thoughts. The wings are noted. Nothing further will be said on the matter.

Works beautifully alongside player character minis for complete city encounters — or explore more from DM Stash.
