When the dust settles and the war-party crests the dune, it is not a horse that carries their champion — it is something older, hungrier, and far less forgiving.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Kaelen Markward is a masked, cloaked rider who commands the battlefield from the back of a fearsome scaled beast — a hulking, low-slung predator bristling with ridged spines, curved tusks, and a whip-like armoured tail. Kaelen raises a broad-bladed cleaver high in one hand while keeping a tight rein with the other, the flowing cloak billowing behind them as the beast prowls forward. The face is hidden behind a beaked mask, lending the figure an air of menace that straddles the line between warlord and something altogether more sinister. Every surface — from the rider's layered wrappings and buckled harness to the creature's overlapping scales and clawed feet — rewards careful painting.
This is a 35mm scale sculpt, larger than our standard 32mm range, giving this mounted figure the commanding table presence it deserves. Whether you play it as a desert warlord mounted on a tamed monstrosity, a cult enforcer riding a bound fiend, or the centrepiece of an encounter your players won't forget, Kaelen Markward works equally well as a striking display piece on the shelf and as a threat across the battlemat.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Need a mounted villain, warlord, or Boss Monster for a desert or wasteland campaign
- Want a large-scale centrepiece mini that holds its own on the display shelf
- Are building encounters around exotic beast mounts or cult leaders
- Enjoy detailed sculpts that reward layered painting and highlighting
Encounter Hook:
The trade caravan was three days overdue when the party found the wreckage — wagons splintered, sand soaked dark, and a single set of enormous claw-marks leading east. At dawn on the second day of tracking, a masked figure appears on the ridge above them, seated astride something vast and scaled, one blade raised in greeting or warning. It has not moved. It is waiting to see what the party does first.
