Fjornath is a creature of terrible beauty. Its bark-like hide stretches across a writhing, muscular frame, cracked and fissured where whatever life once dwelled within has been hollowed out and replaced with something older and far worse. Great sweeping horns arc back from a skull-faced head, and the creature lunges forward on elongated, grasping limbs — coiled to strike, eyes burning with hollow purpose. The base tells its own grim story: scattered bones and the shattered remains of those who came before lie strewn across the ground beneath it. This is not a creature that was defeated. This is a creature that won.

For Dungeon Masters, Fjornath works as a terrifying encounter piece in a corrupted Feywild, a desecrated druidic grove, or as the cursed guardian of a forest long since fallen to blight. The sculpt has extraordinary depth — the layered wood-grain texture across the torso, the exposed sinew at the joints, and the interplay of organic and skeletal forms reward careful painting and look arresting even unprimed.

Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the source of the blight to the heart of the Thornwood — a grove where the trees bleed black sap and the birdsong has been replaced by silence. They find the ancient standing stone at its centre shattered, and Fjornath crouched over the fragments, turning a skull over in one enormous hand. It looks up. It remembers nothing of what it was. It knows exactly what you are.

Fjornath is scaled to 32mm and comes with a detailed scenic base featuring scattered bones and rocky terrain. The model and base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — and the base integrates meaningfully with the sculpt's pose, so we'd recommend using it. The model arrives pre-supported and is printed at high resolution to capture the intricate wood-grain texture, sinew detail, and sweeping horn geometry.
