Description
From the sunless depths of the Underdark, where madness is a currency and power is measured in the fear of others, this Derro shaman has clawed his way to authority — staff raised, eyes burning with something no sane creature would call wisdom.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This is a weighty, characterful sculpt from Yasashii Kyojin Studio that captures the unhinged gravitas of a Derro elder in full display. Wild flame-like hair erupts from beneath a banded headwrap, framing a glowering, bearded face twisted into a scowl of absolute conviction. His flowing robes — spiked at the shoulders and rippling dramatically at the hem — billow around clawed feet as he drives a tall, gnarled staff aloft, its tip decorated with coiling forms and strange protrusions. This is not a miniature that sits quietly on a shelf; it commands attention from every angle, as evidenced by the sweeping rear view showing the full drama of that cloak and staff in motion.
Whether you're running a Derro cult as the hidden hand behind a city's disappearances, or an adventurer delving into a forgotten undercity, this sculpt earns its place both on the gaming table and in a display collection. The level of surface detail — from the wrinkled robes to the grasping knuckles — rewards careful painting and holds washes beautifully.
Well-suited to adventurers who:
- Need a Derro cult leader or Underdark faction boss for their campaign
- Want a distinctive shaman or warlock NPC with genuine presence
- Are building out an Underdark encounter or dungeon set piece
- Collect character-driven fantasy miniatures for display
- Are looking for a memorable player character base for a Derro warlock or sorcerer build
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a string of disappearances in the lower districts of a dwarven city. Their investigation leads them beneath the sewers — and into a vaulted fungal chamber where this Derro elder stands before a congregation of glassy-eyed thralls, staff raised mid-ritual, the air thick with psychic interference. He knows they are there. He has known for hours. He has been waiting.
