Doktor Jakobson is one of the most visually distinctive sculpts in DM Stash's The Dire End collection — a deranged plague doctor striding through the ruins of a plague-ravaged city with the grim confidence of someone who stopped caring about the outcome long ago. He wears the full regalia of his former profession: the iconic beaked mask, a wide-brimmed hat fitted with a brass lens, and a heavy layered coat whose wax-treated fabric is rendered in exquisite textural detail across the flowing cloak behind him. Leather straps, buckles, and pouches cover his torso — everything the obsessive physician needs, and nothing that could be called comforting.

In his left hand he grips a staff topped with a grinning skull, its surface worn smooth by years of use. His right arm is extended, levelling a flintlock pistol with calm, deliberate menace — there is no urgency in his posture, only the practised ease of a man who has made this choice many times before. A partially unfurled cape sweeps dramatically behind him, the textile weave faithfully captured in the sculpt. His scenic base is scattered with broken masonry and bones, grounding the figure in a world that has already fallen.
