Demon of Ash by DM Stash
Description
It did not arrive through the summoning circle — it arrived through what was left of it, still clutching the head of the last fool who tried to bind it.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Demon of Ash is a towering abyssal lord sculpted in vivid, menacing detail. Wings spread wide and ribbed with bone-like spines, this fiend stands triumphant atop a ruined graveyard base — shattered stonework, scattered skeletal remains, and a cracked grave marker beneath its clawed feet. In one hand it grips a severed human head; in the other, a brutal serrated axe crowned with a skull. Its scaled, muscle-corded body is covered in layered armour-like hide, swept-back horns curve above a hollow, sunken face that speaks of nothing but contempt for the living. This is not a minion. This is something your party should genuinely fear.
Whether you're running a descent into the Abyss, staging a demonic incursion into the Material Plane, or simply want a centrepiece creature that commands the table, the Demon of Ash delivers presence and narrative weight in equal measure. It works equally well as a showpiece on a display shelf — the sculpt holds up to close inspection from every angle, with the rear of the wings and base just as detailed as the front.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a credible demon lord or major fiend boss for a D&D 5e or TTRPG campaign
- Are building an Abyssal or demonic encounter with real visual impact on the table
- Want a large-scale display piece that rewards detailed painting — scales, leathery wings, and musculature all hold washes and drybrushing beautifully
- Collect dark fantasy and horror miniatures for their shelves as well as their sessions
Encounter Hook:
The village of Ashford has been burning for three days — not with fire, but with a cold grey light that leaves only cinders. When the party arrives, they find a crater where the temple stood, a ring of ash-grey humanoid silhouettes pressed into the earth, and a single set of enormous clawed footprints leading towards the capital. Something was freed here. Something with a very long memory and a very short temper.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and its detailed scenic base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with a small amount of superglue — the base has been sculpted to interact with the model's pose. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor surface marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up before painting.
