Description

The howling never stops — Yeenoghu, Demon Lord of Gnolls, has scented blood, and he is already mid-leap.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This sculpt captures Yeenoghu in full feral momentum — one knee raised off a shattered rock, his massive axe hauled back and ready to cleave, and one clawed hand swiping forward as though raking the air apart ahead of him. His body is a grotesque anatomy of hyena-like musculature, wrapped in leathery hide and layered with ridge-like protrusions along his back and torso. The oversized, matted mane that crowns his skull gives him the silhouette of something ancient and utterly wrong. His jaws are wide open in a fanged snarl, and the expression reads not as rage but as hunger — this is a creature that genuinely enjoys the hunt.

The axe itself is a beautifully detailed weapon — its blade is ornate and wide, with recessed geometric engravings that suggest something looted from a civilisation long since consumed. The base is a broken slab of rock, cracked under the demon lord's weight as he launches himself skyward, which gives the whole piece a terrific sense of kinetic energy. The huge base size (76.5mm) means Yeenoghu commands real physical presence on the table — this is unambiguously the centrepiece of any encounter.

Whether you paint him in the sickly yellows and browns of gnoll hide or go deeper with the dark purples and corruption-greens of the Abyss, this sculpt rewards the brush. The deep texture in the mane, the sharp ridgelines across the torso, and the fine detail on the axe blade all hold washes and drybrushing brilliantly.

Particularly well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Are running a gnoll-heavy campaign building toward a demonic patron reveal
  • Need a physically imposing BBEG for an Abyssal incursion arc
  • Want a centrepiece miniature that reads as dangerous from across the room
  • Are painting a display piece around demon lords of the Abyss
  • Run Out of the Abyss or homebrew demonic invasion storylines

Encounter Hook: The gnoll warband the party has been tracking for three sessions parts like a tide — and from the treeline behind them, Yeenoghu himself bounds into the clearing, axe already raised. He does not speak. He does not need to. The warbands had a master all along.

Details

This miniature is supplied unpainted and unassembled where applicable. The huge base size (76.5mm) reflects Yeenoghu's in-game Huge creature category. A standard round base is recommended for D&D 5e play. Designed for 32mm heroic scale, though Yeenoghu's Huge sizing means he towers appropriately over standard minis at the table.
