Demon (Lamashtu) by The Toadstool Weaver
Description
She crawled from the oldest darkness before the gods had names for what she was — mother of monsters, devourer of children, and sovereign of every wretched thing that hunts in the night.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Lamashtu is one of the most ancient and terrifying figures in mythologically-inspired fantasy: a demon goddess of monstrous birth, madness, and primal hunger. This sculpt captures her in full, unsettling detail — a jackal-headed figure crowned with a halo, vast feathered wings spread wide, skulls adorning her chest, bone-wrapped legs ending in taloned bird feet, and twin daggers clutched in too many hands. She radiates divine malevolence, the kind that belongs on an altar rather than a summoning circle. Whether you're placing her at the heart of a corrupted cult, as the final revelation of a Pathfinder or D&D campaign, or as a centrepiece on your display shelf, this miniature commands attention without asking for it.
The sculpt is a digital render shown unpainted, and the level of surface detail — from individual feather quills to the rope bindings at her knees — speaks to the care that has gone into The Toadstool Weaver's work. She'll reward a skilled painter and look formidable even straight off the build plate.
A good fit for adventurers who:
- Run D&D 5e or Pathfinder campaigns built around demon cults or divine corruption arcs
- Need a commanding boss monster or demonic deity for their next encounter
- Collect display-quality fantasy miniatures of mythologically-rooted creatures
- Want a centrepiece mini that doubles as a conversation piece on the shelf
Encounter Hook:
The village midwife has been leaving offerings at the old stone — animals at first, then something worse. When the party investigates the cellar beneath her cottage, they find a birthing altar, three monstrous infants in iron cradles, and a ritual circle half-complete. The circle is nearly finished. Something is already halfway through.
