Deer / Stag Standing by Atlanticus Arts
Description
It stands motionless at the treeline — antlers raised, nostrils flaring — as if it has been watching the party far longer than they realise.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Not every creature on the tabletop needs to be a monster to carry weight. A stag like this one can be the sacred quarry of a hunt, a spirit guardian bound to an ancient grove, or the mortal form of a shapeshifting fey lord who has led the adventurers deeper into the wood than they intended. Sculpted with close attention to texture — each strand of the chest mane individually rendered, the antlers branching with naturalistic spread, hooves set firm on a rocky outcrop base — this miniature carries genuine presence whether it's on the board or on a shelf.
In D&D 5e terms, a deer is a humble beast, but in the hands of a creative Dungeon Master it becomes something far more interesting: the druid's wild shape, a poacher's prize, a divine omen, or the herald of something ancient stirring in the forest. Equally at home in a Feywild encounter, a wilderness hex crawl, or a nature-themed display piece, this sculpt earns its place in any collection.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run forest, woodland, or Feywild encounters and want authentic wildlife on the table
- Need a creature for a sacred hunt, a druidic ritual, or a nature-spirit story beat
- Play Druids or Rangers and want a wild shape or animal companion represented in miniature
- Collect and paint fantasy wildlife for display as well as gaming
Encounter Hook:
The village elder insists the white stag must not be harmed — it is the forest's heart made flesh, and the last three hunters who drew a bow on it were found the next morning, turned to bark and bramble. The party has been hired to escort a noble who very much intends to ignore that warning.
Available in 32mm scale for tabletop play or 54mm display scale for painting projects and shelf pieces. The sculpt comes with an integrated scenic rocky base. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming — a fine surface for any painter, from base-coat-and-drybrush to full display work.
