The Death Tyrant is one of D&D's most unsettling undead horrors: the reanimated skull of a beholder, stripped of flesh but not of malice. This sculpt from Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures that dread with precision — a massive fanged skull, jaw wrenched open to reveal rows of jagged teeth, adorned with bone spurs and curved horns, suspended above a ghostly floater base. Six detachable eye stalks radiate outward like necrotic antennae, each tipped with a glassy orb. At 45mm tall, this is a centrepiece model that commands the table the moment it hits the mat.
The sculpt rewards painters and intimidates opponents in equal measure. Whether you're dry-brushing bleached bone over deep shadow washes or leaving it grey for maximum spectral menace, the surface detail — cracked enamel teeth, pitted bone texture, curved bony protrusions — gives you plenty to work with. What's included:
One Death Tyrant skull miniature at 45mm scale. Supplied with six separate eye stalks and a floater base, both in grey — all can be attached with hobby glue. Supports removed. Minor surface imperfections are possible as part of the printing process and can be cleaned up before priming.
