This is pose 02 of the Death Slaad range from Novaminis, and where the first sculpt may stand and loom, this one moves. The hunched torso lurches forward with grotesque momentum, both arms flung wide in a double-claw threat display, taloned feet digging in for the lunge. Dorsal spines ridge the bloated back, lesion-textured skin bulges across the chest and arms, and the overall silhouette is one of barely contained, lumbering violence. There is nothing elegant about a Death Slaad — and this sculpt captures that with genuine conviction.
In D&D lore, Death Slaads are the apex of the slaad hierarchy — humanoid in shape only, driven by chaos, and utterly indifferent to the concept of mercy. On the tabletop, they function as high-challenge boss monsters or as the horrifying culmination of a slaad-infected campaign arc. This pose, mid-charge with arms spread, works especially well when placed approaching the party — the wide stance reads clearly from across the table, and the forward lean gives it a sense of physical inevitability that static poses rarely achieve. Equally at home on a display shelf as a trophy of a hard-won encounter.

Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be secured with a small amount of glue. If you'd like a different scale, get in touch and we'll do our best to help. Some minor surface marks may be present as a natural result of the printing process; these are easily addressed before priming. The miniature is supplied unpainted and ready for priming.
