Description

It drifts in silence through the Underdark's deepest channels — a single unblinking eye surrounded by writhing tendrils, and a hunger that has no name.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Death Kiss is one of the Underdark's more unsettling cousins to the Beholder — a bloated, tentacled aberration that hunts living blood with a patience that borders on the meditative. This sculpt from Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures that eerie stillness beautifully: the bulbous central eye, heavy-lidded and glassy, sits above a mass of thick, rope-like tendrils that hang and curl with organic weight. One tendril ends in a clutching, mouth-like tip — a grim reminder of how this creature feeds. At 78mm tall, it looms over standard 32mm minis exactly as it should, making it a natural centrepiece for any encounter it inhabits.

Whether you're placing it in a flooded cave system, a forgotten Underdark vault, or as the apex threat in a dungeon level, this miniature carries the visual authority to sell the moment. It sits on a slim display-style floater base that keeps the tentacles clear of the ground, giving it that unnerving mid-air drift. Equally at home on a display shelf as it is in the middle of your battlemap.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a physically imposing aberration to anchor an Underdark encounter
  • Are running a Beholder-adjacent campaign and want unsettling kin on the table
  • Collect and paint large creature minis for display as well as play
  • Want a distinctive boss monster that reads instantly across the table

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve cargo from a sunken trade barge in a subterranean lake — but when they dive, they realise the wreck isn't empty. Something has been nesting in the hold, and its single eye catches the light of their spells from thirty feet below the surface.

This miniature stands 78mm tall and is printed at a scale that places it comfortably in the Large creature category alongside standard 32mm minis. It comes with a floater base in grey, supplied unattached — a small drop of glue seats it securely. The sculpt arrives with supports removed; as with all high-detail resin prints, minor surface marks are possible and can be cleaned up easily before priming. Supplied unpainted and ready for your brushwork or ready to use straight from the box.
