The Death Hound is no ordinary fiend. Part predator, part abyssal aberration, this creature defies easy classification — and that is precisely what makes it so unsettling at the table. Its elongated, skeletal frame carries a crown of curved horns above a skull-like muzzle, while a writhing mass of segmented tentacles erupts from its shoulders and spine like the roots of some infernal tree. This is not a creature that lopes into battle — it stalks, it hunts, and it never comes alone.

Mia Kay M3DM has sculpted this beast with exceptional surface texture throughout: every rib, every chitinous tentacle segment, and every gaunt muscle line reads with real clarity. The rocky terrain base grounds it in a desolate, otherworldly landscape — equally at home in the Abyss, a blighted hellscape, or the cursed wastes of a homebrew campaign. Whether you are running a demonic incursion, a corrupted wilderness encounter, or a boss fight your players will not forget, the Death Hound earns its place on the table and on the shelf.

For adventurers who:

  • Need a genuinely unsettling fiend or aberrant beast for their campaign
  • Want a centrepiece creature for demonic invasion or corruption arcs
  • Are building a display collection of distinctive creature sculpts
  • Love painting heavily textured creature minis with strong silhouettes

Encounter Hook:
The village has reported missing livestock for three weeks — but when the party reaches the abandoned farmstead, they find the shepherd's crook, a scorched summoning circle scratched into the dirt floor, and a trail of deep, three-toed prints leading into the treeline. The prints are not alone. Something larger left marks between them — something dragging eight limbs.
