Description

From beneath a ragged hood, hollow eye sockets and a crow's beak regard you with the calm certainty of someone who has already seen how this ends.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This bust depicts a cloaked, avian-faced death figure — part corvid, part wraith, wholly unsettling. The sculpt is dominated by a billowing, torn hood that frames a skull-like crow's head, its beak long and sharp, its eye sockets sunken and knowing. Beneath the cloak, overlapping scales or feathers press against the fabric, hinting at something ancient and not entirely corporeal. The whole composition rises from a weighty, riveted stone plinth, giving it the gravitas of a monument rather than a mere ornament. Every fold of cloth, every ridge of bone, every weathered surface is rendered with the kind of detail that rewards a careful brush and a patient painter.

Whether you place this on a shelf as a centrepiece of your dark fantasy collection or set it on the table as a visual reference for your campaign's death god, psychopomp, or harbinger NPC, the Death Bust commands attention without demanding explanation. It simply is, and it knows things you don't.

Sculpted for adventurers who:

  • Want a substantial display painting project with layered textures — cloth, bone, scale, and stone all in one piece
  • Are building a dark fantasy or gothic bust collection
  • Need a visual anchor for a death deity, lich patron, or otherworldly NPC in their TTRPG campaign
  • Appreciate collector-quality sculpts that hold their own on a shelf alongside painted masterworks

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the crossroads shrine at midnight, as instructed — but the carved stone bust that marks the junction has changed. The crow's beak now points directly down the road no one wants to take, and there are fresh scratches in the plinth that weren't there yesterday, spelling out a name. One of the players recognises it. It's theirs.

Details

This is a display bust, scaled for tabletop painters and collectors rather than standard 32mm gaming use. The sculpt sits on an integrated stone plinth base. Printed at high resolution for crisp surface detail. Minor support marks may occasionally be present but are easily addressed during the painting process.
