Description

The silence before death is not empty — it is full of him, robes trailing across cold stone, great antlered crown scraping the vault of the sky as he raises one open hand and bids you simply… come.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Death Avatar Provoke is a figure of sovereign, unhurried menace. He stands tall in layered robes that pool at his feet, one arm extended with open palm — not a threat, but an invitation that carries all the weight of inevitability. In his other hand trails a great ornate scythe, its blade decorated with scroll-work and crowned with a grinning skull, dragged behind him as if death itself needs no flourish to make its point.

Above his armoured shoulders rises an enormous crown of branching antlers, asymmetric and jagged, their silhouette filling the air around him like the canopy of a dead forest. Beneath, his face is masked and gaunt, framed by spiked pauldrons and an articulated chestpiece that speaks to something once martial, now elevated far beyond war into something older and colder. Every surface detail — the layered armour, the billowing cloth, the filigree on the scythe haft — rewards close painting. Washes, zenithal priming, and edge highlighting will all find purchase here.

He sits on a large 51mm base, which gives him the commanding footprint his stature demands. The multipart construction means he arrives ready for assembly before undercoating, giving you full control over positioning.

This miniature suits adventurers who:

  • Need a commanding undead overlord or death deity avatar for a high-stakes final encounter
  • Are running campaigns in the Shadowfell, Ravenloft, or any setting where death holds dominion
  • Want a display centrepiece that rewards patient, layered painting
  • Play or DM death-domain Clerics, Oathbreaker Paladins, or Necromancer campaigns
  • Collect large-footprint statement miniatures alongside standard encounter pieces

Encounter Hook

The party has pursued the missing souls of an entire village deep into the Shadowfell, only to find them arrayed in silence at the feet of a robed figure — antlered crown scraping the cavern ceiling, scythe resting against the floor. He turns slowly, extends one open hand, and says nothing at all. The silence does more work than any spell.
