Description

The great beast lies where it fell — wings tangled in its own cloak, scales dulled by death, the terror of a hundred mountain passes reduced to silence and still air.

  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales

A dead wyvern is more than a corpse on a battlefield. It is a story: a hunt concluded, a desperate last stand, a bounty claimed at terrible cost — or perhaps bait, left by something worse that wanted to draw adventurers in. This sculpt captures that narrative weight in remarkable detail. The crumpled, leathery hide ripples with texture, draped robes or wing membrane folded beneath the fallen body in a way that reads as genuinely heavy and lifeless. It is scatter terrain, environmental storytelling, and display piece all at once.

Whether you are dressing a dragon's graveyard, marking the aftermath of a climactic boss encounter, or building a lair that tells its own dark history, this piece adds layers of atmosphere that no token or flat marker ever could. It works equally well on a gaming table mid-session and on a display shelf between games.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Want to mark the aftermath of a major encounter with real visual impact
  • Are building dragon lairs, wilderness hexes, or overland encounter maps
  • Enjoy painting environmental and creature pieces as display models
  • Run campaigns where wyverns, drakes, or lesser dragons feature prominently

Encounter Hook:
The wyvern has been dead for three days — the party can smell it from the treeline. But the bounty poster said nothing about the claw marks raked across its skull from above, or the deep gouges in the earth where something much larger dragged it here and left it as a warning.
