This is the third sculpt in Novaminis' Dead Tree range, and it's the most angular of the set — a tall, stripped trunk that tapers to a sharp crown of splayed, claw-like branches. Where the earlier trees spread wide, this one reaches high, giving it a distinct silhouette that reads clearly from across a battle map. The deeply textured bark, grasping root base, and jagged upper limbs make it equally at home in a blighted vale, a Ravenloft graveyard, or the edge of a cursed Feywild glade. Whether you're adding atmosphere to a wilderness encounter or composing a diorama that stops people in their tracks, this sculpt earns its place on the table. Just as effective unpainted as it is with a wash and drybrush — the detail carries the mood on its own.

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks the missing shepherd to the edge of the Ashwood — three days dead, they're told, since anything has grown here. The first Dead Tree looms out of the fog at the edge of the treeline, its branches splitting into sharp, skeletal fingers. Then another. Then a dozen. And somewhere between them, something moves that is very much not dead.

Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supplied ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all detailed terrain pieces, minor surface marks may occasionally occur and can be tidied up with a hobby knife or fine sandpaper.
