Dead Tree 02 from Novaminis is the second sculpt in their Dead Tree terrain range, and it brings a distinctly unsettling presence to the tabletop. Where other scatter terrain fades into the background, this piece commands attention. Two asymmetric trunks rise from a shared root system, their deeply furrowed bark twisting upward into a tangle of reaching, claw-like branches. A dark hollow sits where the bark has split open — large enough to suggest something once sheltered there, or still does. The surface texture is richly detailed throughout, from the gnarled root spread along the ground to the fingertip-thin branch tips clawing at the sky.
It reads equally well as an ancient blighted oak on a cursed battlefield, a corrupted tree in a Feywild clearing gone wrong, or a piece of Shadowfell scenery where nothing living dares take root. Positioned against other terrain or stood alone, it sets a tone before a single dice has been rolled. A worthy companion to Dead Tree 01 for adventurers building out a full blighted woodland scene.

What's included:
This listing is for Dead Tree 02, sculpted at 32mm scale. A plain black base is available as an optional extra and comes unattached — a small amount of glue is all that's needed to secure it. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail terrain pieces, very minor marks may occasionally remain and can be tidied up easily before priming. The piece arrives fully cured and ready for painting or use straight from the box. If you'd like a different scale, just get in touch.
