This is the second sculpt in our Darkmantle range by Novaminis, and where pose 01 captures the creature mid-descent, this variant shows it splayed and grounded — body reared upright, its broad fleshy mantle spread wide to reveal the ring of hooked claws and the gaping, ribbed maw at its centre. The textural detail across the body is extraordinary: warty, puckered skin over the torso, softly mottled wing-fins, and a deep violet-tinted mouth cavity that practically drips with threat. Those twin forward-claws are poised low and splayed, like a creature bracing itself against the stone floor of a cavern it entirely owns.
Darkmantles are a staple of any self-respecting Underdark encounter — low Challenge Rating, high terror. They cling to cave ceilings, extinguish magical light, and drop onto the heads of unprepared adventurers. This sculpt captures that grotesque, cephalopod-adjacent weirdness with real character. Equally at home on a dungeon battle map or displayed on a shelf alongside your Underdark diorama.

Details
Supplied at 32mm scale, pre-supported and cleaned. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box as-is. As with all hand-finished prints, minor surface marks are possible; these are easily tidied up before painting.

We use Royal Mail Track48 for our Domestic parcel delivery. This provides you with a tracking number so that you can track your items on their way to you.
